Personal Information

In order to supply you with your HomeSavvi member account, we need your email address, a user name, and postal code. So that we may provide you with additional services, we may also request your real name and telephone number. HomeSavvi does not collect any other personal information that you do not expressly provide. Personal Information We Collect

Invite-A-Friend/Forward This Page

When you elect to use our referral service for inviting a friend or emailing content on our Site to a friend, we ask you for your friend's name and email address. HomeSavvi will automatically send your friend a one-time email on your behalf which contains the content on our Site, and which invites your friend to visit the Site. HomeSavvi uses your friend's name and email address only to send this one-time email. If your friend does not wish to receive "invite-a-friend" messages to be sent on your behalf, he or she must contact you directly. HomeSavvi users may not use our referral service to send unwanted spam to others.

Contests, Promotions, Offers and Surveys

From time to time, our Site may request personal information from users via contests, promotions, offers or surveys. Participation in these contests, promotions, offers and surveys is completely voluntary and you therefore may choose whether or not to disclose this information. Tracking

They allow us to quickly check your status as an HomeSavvi member and facilitate access to your preferences. HomeSavvi will never use cookies to retrieve information from a computer that is unrelated to our Site or services.

HomeSavvi also uses transparent GIF images. We use these images to track the emails that we send out.

Third Party Advertising

Some of the ads appearing on this Site are delivered to you by our Web advertising partner. Information about your visit to their Site, such as number of times you have viewed an ad (but not your name, address or other personal information), is used to serve ads to you.

Content and Ratings

You can publish photos, comments and other content. Members can choose to rate products, services or other reviews, and to connect to other members.
Your contributed content is displayed publicly. Your member name is automatically displayed with content you publish, and if other members choose to, they can receive notifications of your publications or publish their own comments to your content.
We, and our licensees, can republish your content as described in the HomeSavvi Terms of Use. We use your content to personalize the site and identify/feature popular members. For example, we may promote the most popular content and members. While we don't expect to transfer the complete content and member database to others (except as contemplated elsewhere in this policy), we use the database throughout our networks and to generate results for others.

Email Tools

If you send emails through our site, your email will include your email address and any personal message you include. However, these emails aren't private communications. We do not necessarily retain, in any easily-retrievable way, the addresses you are emailing. You may not use these tools to send spam or content that violates the HomeSavvi Terms of Use.
