The most popular kitchen cabinet styles are shaker, contemporary and old world. We are seeing more dark color selections blended with interesting accent colors, such as muted taupes, creams, yellow and green. People are gravitating to either simpler styles or more involved, with very little in between! Cherry is the predominate wood species and people are using more drawers and fewer roll-out trays for easier access.

Hello friend,

Now a days Old World, traditional,  Integrated and Kraftmaid cabinet in different colors like yellow which symbolises instant warmth are popular and people are opting it.

Mix and matchcolors are also used to give a diiferent look.

I like the design of mixing cabinet and melamine kitchen also. They have a unique and finished look.

Many designers do experiment with colors and design and try to give different look.

Regards,
Nelson

Cabinet Door Trends and Styling

Cabinet Trends are moving away from Shaker unless its a more authentic craftsmen home.  Shaker has become "builder basic", it is less expensive to manufacturer and has been duplicated by every cabinet line across the country.

What is more the up and coming trend is the flush doors in either a renewable woods or even wood veneers, such as some of the cabinetry offered by Canyon Creek Cabinets or Pacific Crest.  Both cabinet lines offer manufacturing plants that honor clean development.

Pacific Crest cabinetry is being featured in the Zero Energy Idea Home in Sammamish.

Kitchen:      Bellmont cabinetry in “Linea”door style of Horizontal engineered veneer VG Oak, natural stain

Guest & Master Baths: Bellmont cabinetry in “Oak Park” door style of FSC, Sapele wood, natural stain

Laundry:     Amero cabinetry in “Revurb” door style of Natural Cane, horizontal grain laminate

Ships Ladder: Bellmont cabinetry in “Shaker” door style of Alder / Autumn stain

If you want price conscience cabinetry then you should consider the shaker door but if you want a unique signature for your home that reflects your lifestyle then you should look for a designer or cabinetry company that can help you achieve that overall look.
