Mom’s Pharmacy is located in the eclectic and diverse Capitol Hill neighborhood. The project objective was to re-build an existing dark and dingy 1941 sq. ft. basement into an AIDS/HIV specialty retail pharmacy, education and patient consultation center. By maintaining the building’s original exposed concrete walls, wood ceiling and beams, the space built reflects the originality and style of the building and surrounding community. Vintage furnishings were used and contrasted with contemporary color, trim, and tile throughout the space. The combination creates an aesthetically pleasing and functional space for both employees and patients to enjoy.
