          The winners were revealed at the REX Awards Banquet on Saturday, June 20 at the Lynnwood Convention Center and are featured for the first time online beginning today.

          The REX Awards are the “Academy Awards” of the local home remodeling community. Presented by the MBA’s Remodelors Council, the event recognizes the thinking, planning, and hands-on work that go into re-creating exceptional new spaces for homeowners.  Entries are judged on their own merits by a panel of home building professionals from various fields of expertise.  There are six award categories that are each judged on aesthetics, general design, budgetary considerations and special challenges.

          “This online recognition of REX award-winning projects is a great way for consumers to better understand the quality and care that goes into any remodeling project, especially from an MBA RemodelorsTM Council member,” said James Cadungug, MBA’s director of events.  “It will be a great way to inspire and encourage homeowners as well as those new to the profession.”
