This exquisite Seattle bedroom remodel and bathroom remodel features unique bathroom cabinet design ideas made to match the custom headboard storage for the bedroom. A second-story home addition to this ranch created enough space for this luxury master suite.
The owners wanted an airy, spacious master suite where they could efficiently prepare for the day ahead and use the same space to wind down in the evenings. Special attention was paid to both bedroom and bathroom storage to maximize space, minimize the need for furniture, and attractively house a variety of unique features.
The custom built bedroom cabinets include room for comforters and extra linens above the headboard. A special niche was designed to hold a piece of art, and the cabinet beneath was built to hide the audio and television equipment controls in a convenient location. What appears to be more cabinets on the left side of the bed is actually a pivoting door that leads directly to the bathroom.
The bathroom cabinets house custom coffee station complete with refrigerator, and the vanity area has a pivoting TV screen above the sink. Above the tub is another built in niche to hold candles, towels and other bath accoutrements.
The total project cost was over $500,000, and included remodeling over ¾ of the house. The bedroom and bathroom cabinets and door are maple with a taupe stain. Fusion tile in the bathroom is from Statements Tile and the tub deck and countertop are Lagos Blue from Caesarstone.
