The clients main desire was to change the flow of the kitchen, move walls, change out appliances, add a kitchen window. Put cooktop on the angle and add SPECIAL SHEET GLASS to the backsplash. The glass was custom made for this client. The color was specifically selected from the Pantone paint deck and then made locally. You cannot actually put tempered sheets of glass behind a professional series cooktop, it will not withstand the heat. This special glass is made just for that. The cabinetry is our local company out of Sumner WA. Pacific Crest Cabinetry. Pacific Crest offers cabinetry meets or exceeds manufacturing criteria in these following categories. •Control of air quality and emission levels •Use of certified and sustainable materials •Energy efficient manufacturing processes •Waste and recycle management •Social stewardship So this project made improvements to the home in the way it functions, the way it looks, but we were practical along the way too.
