Indulging in Luxury-Goods doesn’t mean that you have to give up on all factors of Sustainability
People are more aware than ever that they want to return to a more socially responsible way of building. The earth is demanding we wake up and take attention to what is happening around us. One of our local association that can guide us to better building practices is Built Green of the Master Builders of King and Snohomish Counties
As, consumers are demanding that the goods they buy be made in ways that do not harm the environment or the workers who make them. They seek “green” products or “fair trade” goods.
You have to fundamentally have to take responsibility for the things you yourself can solve or can be come involved in and try to solve, build responsibly is my moto.
1. Where does the product I want come from for my project come from ?
2. How is the product I want produced?
3. Does the product I want for my project come from a company that has a green/recycle practice in place.
How do they conduct business.
4. Where are the things that I tear out going to go?
If you ask your self these simple questions you can begin to contribute to the build green practices, now these are baby steps but they are steps and you are on your way.
Bagley Custom Interiors has access to green vendors, architects and materials for your project.
