It’s fun to dream

I first heard of Pottery Barn from a Friends episode, when Rachel had insisted to Phoebe that her furniture were classic antiques, when in fact, they came from a Pottery Barn storefront. I think that first impression made a lasting mark on me, subconsciously thinking that Pottery Barn is a stylish trendy store, with a strange comedic twist.

I was inspired when the Pottery Barn catalog came in the mail yesterday. Most of the items feature large bright florals, brilliant yellows, “honey hues”, and Martha Stewart greens. I’d love to have the clean, classic, and slightly elegant look of the living rooms and bedrooms… someday… Meanwhile, it’s fun to dream.
